Paul graduated from East Carolina University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. After graduation he worked three years with Reliance Insurance Company as a commercial lines underwriter. He worked the next thirteen years with Great American Insurance Company in various commercial lines underwriting and marketing positions. Paul joined W. A. Moore & Col, Inc. in 1994. He opened the Greenville office of W.A. Moore in 1996. He deals with all types of commercial and personal lines insurance throughout eastern North Carolina.

Paul has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 1990 recently receiving his 20 year recognition certificate from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He also has been an Associate in Risk Management since 1991. He serves on the Technical Committee for the North Carolina Independent Agents Association.
